Day 24 Flexibility

As I continue on my Specialists Path, one of the factors that I think really works in my favor is my flexibility.

Flexibility is a vital aspect to a successful kicker or punter. Coach Renner emphasizes flexibility in his Training Program and I really love his Dynamic Flexibility.

Dynamic Flexibility is much different than just sitting on the ground and stretching. It forces you to work on balance and a much more active stretch.

As I do my kicking lessons in Tennessee, I make sure that each kicking specialist has flexibility. Just like a golfer it is important to go through the full range of motion on a swing.

I believe that if you are stretching four days a week you are maintaining flexibility. Anything less than that is losing some and any more than that will help you gain more flexibility.
